Capture your true story: In today’s world of camera phones and user-friendly digital recorders we all snap shots of everyday events with ease, and often in great volume. We share photos with our friends and family online and in text messages, and keep up-to-date with Facebook albums and Twitter-pics. But, periodically, we have the need to go farther, look deeper, and truly capture the spirit of a moment in our lives.

Significant life events, and indeed each unique stage in our personal histories that we wish to mark, can never be recreated and the images captured in these moments can only be produced once. As an artist and journalist, I appreciate these moments in life and work to capture the story and spirit of each unique situation with photographs worthy of a place among my clients’ most valued possessions.

I’m a natural light photographer with a journalistic approach. To me, people’s homes and favorite spots nearby such as parks make the most meaningful backdrop because they add a little story to photographs. Although I’m always there to help when needed, I let people lead their own photo destinies instead of staging poses and unnatural scenes. The result is natural, beautiful photos, and meaningful art for your home.

Lifestyle portraits can be of anything – engagements, anniversaries, newborns, babies, children, families, senior portraits, birthdays, business or modeling headshots – you name it!

 

My pricing is a little untraditional. I don’t hold your photos hostage or charge exorbitant amounts for prints. I just charge one flat creative fee to cover my time and talents. You get it all and more.

Creative fee: $450*

Includes: ~1 hour shoot at location of your choice, artistic editing (typically 6-8 hours of processing), online album, and a CD of images (so you have the freedom to print wherever and whenever you want).

*Please note: Size of final album varies. Fees apply for distances of more than 30mi outside of downtown Seattle and parties of more than 4. A $200 retainer fee locks in your appointment date and session price.
