Wow. What can I say about Heather…Well to start, she is artistic, talented and just a wonderful person to be around! My husband and I had Heather take our engagement photos and were so blown away by her ability to capture amazing shots, we also had her join us for our wedding. Not only are the pictures beautiful, she was able to really tell the story of the day. In addition to her skill as photographer, Heather and Josh were amazing support during that crazy day! Heather’s work is awesome! She is so creative and catches each moment naturally. The best photos were when we weren’t even paying attention and those are the photos I will treasure forever. Heather and her folks are not only FANTASTIC and artistic, but easy to be around and full of great ideas. She was ready and willing to travel to Portland for our wedding, making sure she had all of the details down before the big day. Heather was great about asking what we wanted (formal shots, informal, any special requests) and was always thinking about the next ‘great shot’. I’m not going to lie, there were some moments when I questioned why we were standing in a wheat field, but when I saw the final pictures I totally got it. She captured great, unscripted moments perfectly, due in large part to her easy demeanor. I’ve been to a lot of weddings where the photographers are in your face (and the guests!) the whole time; Heather moved like a stealth shadow, which was almost too bad because she’s super cool and fun.Everytime I look at the photos it instantly takes me back. To top it off, she did the layout of a coffee table book for us and coordinated the printing and shipping. People come over and ask to see it – I have yet to shove it on anyone, I swear!! – because what she created was so eye catching. Now I need to have a baby so she can photograph it, too!!

Heather’s ability to take ‘perfect pictures’ of my children is astounding. Every picture she’s taken for us has come out wonderfully – and there’s no chance that we’ll be using a different photographer in the future to capture the special events of our lives. Her pictures of the boys are everyone’s favorites, and everyone comments on the ones we have on the mantel and the wall. Nobody else even comes close to capturing a moment of our lives so beautifully and so well. |

Heather came to our house to photograph our newborn baby. She took her time and didn’t try to rush or force him into unnatural “poses”. She captured some beautiful photos of our baby and our family that are very natural and candid. She was very professional, arrived on-time and prepared, and we received the photos promptly afterward. I would recommend her! |

Heather photographed our wedding in September of 2010, after traveling almost 3000 miles to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After hiring her initially to shoot our engagement photos we knew we would be disappointed if anyone other than her was there for our big day! She and her staff were completely flexible and prepared for the shoot. They captured every element of our celebration from the typical portraits to the details we wanted to remember. I couldn’t recommend anyone with higher regard! |

Heather’s photography really speaks for itself, it is amazing. The enormous bonus of having her as your photographer is that she is so wonderful to be around and she really makes you feel comfortable behind the camera. I also greatly appreciate how she has the ability to disappear into the background and really capture authentic moments. She has taken photos of our daughter at 3 months and also did all the photography for her 1st birthday… I had NO idea how helpful that was going to be until I realized I got to sit back and enjoy all those perfect little moments just as much as anyone else at the party and not worry about getting it on camera. Such a gift to me! |

Heather is W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L!!! She is pleasant and kind, and although she is the professional, she allows you to be the master of your own photo’s destiny. (Hard to come by, at least in my experience). We had one year anniversary shots done at Seattle Center, to “re-live” our wedding day! And although the weather was crummy, cold and rainy, she made it festive, lifted our spirits and was such a positive energy – our shots turned out amazing. Yes, amazing! Needless to say, if I could turn back time, she would have been my wedding photoger, but alas, I currently know of no such machine to make that happen… Rest assured, Heather will indeed be capturing many, many, many more of our family memories in the making. |

Heather is not only a talented photographer, she is extremely adept in encouraging her subjects to feel at ease and unaware of her camera. As she casually creates a relaxing environment, she is able to capture great expressions and special moments that make wonderful pictures. Heather came over to our home and charmed our 10 week old baby into putting on quite a show. We now have an amazing collection of photos of our son, depicting an array of emotions that truly capture his budding personality. |

Heather did an absolutely amazing job with our dogs! She was able to capture all the facets of their complex personalities (playful, food-oriented beggar, sweet, comical, cuddly, intellectual, attention-hog) and was able to shoot them beautifully in natural light. Working with Javier was not easy… he is a neurotic dog rescued from a shelter and refuses to let people near him… but somehow she managed to coax out his cuteness and capture it all on camera! We now have a home adorned with beautiful vibrant photos of Hanako and Javier… our furry companions. She got such amazing shots, she made our scraggly pups look like show dogs fit for Westminster or the American Kennel Club! From time to time I even catch glimpses of Javier admiring himself in a head-shot hung artfully over the toilet. Only the truly talented photography of Heather King could turn my mutt into a narcissistic show dog. |

We loved our time with Heather! It was great that she offered to come to our house because our daughter is always happier and more outgoing in her own environment! Everyone tells me they love how unique our pictures are. She captured our daughter’s expressions unlike any department store studio could, and we had so much fun! It was a great experience for our daughter’s first photo shoot  |
